Often called "half size", these carrots have a tapering conical shape and grow up to 8 inches. The fine textured, tender bright orange flesh is rich in flavor and very sweet either cooked, raw or frozen. A heavy yielding variety that stores well and stays crisp.

When and Where to Plant: Select sunny location with light porous soil. Cultivate deeply and plant in early spring as soon as soil can be worked, repeating every 2-3 weeks until midsummer. Fall planting recommended in mild winter areas. Sow seed sparingly, firming soil over row.
