Planting Information:
When and Where to Plant: Start seeds indoors or in hot bed 8-12 weeks before last frost. Set plants out after last frost, or sow directly outdoors in sunny location after last frost. Cultivate soil deeply and enrich with vegetable food and organic matter. Firm soil over seed. After first year transplant into permanent beds.
Care: Keep soil moist, weed free and feed twice a year.
Harvesting: Cut or Snap spears when 6-8 in. high in third year.
