Espoma® Organic Tree-Tone is an organic fertilizer designed for planting and feeding shade, fruit, and ornamental trees. It nourishes the entire tree—leaves, trunk, and roots. Safe and long-lasting, it provides essential nutrients for vigorous and productive plants. This plant food is 100% natural and organic approved.

Tree-Tone features a rich blend of the finest natural and organic ingredients, enhanced with humates and beneficial microbes. The Tone products are crafted from complex blends of superior natural and organic ingredients, with no sludges or fillers. Enhanced with Bio-tone beneficial microbes, they help plants establish quickly, develop deeper roots, and produce superior blooms. Consistency and quality are guaranteed, offering long-lasting results without burning or leaching away.

For use on: All fruit, shade and ornamental trees.

When to use: One time each in Spring and Fall.  Feed early Spring before growth starts. In the Fall, feed after leaf drop but before the ground freezes.

How much to use: The amount of Tree-tone required is determined by the caliper or diameter of the trunk. On medium and large trees this should be measured at a point 4 feet above the ground.

How to apply:

  • Small trees: Sprinkle on ground over area equal to root spread. This can be estimated as the area under and slightly beyond the branch spread.
  • Large trees: Make holes 2 to 3″ in diameter,   2 to 3′ apart, and 12 to 18″ deep under the drip line (outer edges of branches) of the tree with an auger. Divide Tree-tone evenly among the holes, fill remainder of holes with soil. Water thoroughly.
